The best of both worlds! | It doesn’t feel like we’ve had much of a summer, but here we are in March already and gearing up for the cooler weather. Oranges are already on the list of what’s in season, but in my neck of the woods (which is orchard country) the oranges are still little and hard and green so they won’t be in full swing here for a while yet. But there are so many other lovely things to choose from – there’s all the late season summer stuff as well as the early autumn offerings – the best of both worlds really!
In March I am keen to experiment a bit with the last beetroots out of the veggie patch, and also the glut of zucchinis we have going on. We’ll also be making good use of the barbecue while it’s still light at dinner time.
