October is the month where people start talking about their plans for Christmas and wondering where on earth the year has gone. Really, where has it gone?
I love October, not only because it’s my birthday, but because the asparagus season is in full swing, there’s still lots of lovely citrus around, and because (especially this year), strawberries are cheap and plentiful. (And because it’s my birthday. Did I mention that already? I’m a Halloween baby, Mum says she’s still not sure if I’m a trick or a treat. Haha Mum, that’s pretty funny!)
